2023 ELECTION: AT LAST, APC Finally Reveals Date To Kick Off Presidential Campaigns

The All Progressive Progress, APC finally fixes the 10th of October in 2022, to launch the presidential campaign for the general elections that will take place in 2023.

It was reported that the APC has set the new date with the hope that the party’ s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, will return to the country within the next few days.

It is important to keep in mind that Tinubu left the country a few days before the announcement made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that the campaign season for the presidency had officially commenced.

Rumors were circulating that Tinubu left the country due to health concerns, but his allies insisted that he just needed some time off to recover before the beginning of the campaign.

You may recall that the party changed the date of its campaigns, which was earlier set for Wednesday, September 28.

However, Simon Lalong, Governor of Plateau State and Director- General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, explained the reason why the date was changed by claiming that the adjustment to the schedule was a result of the move to expand the campaign council list to accommodate more stakeholders.

Tinubu is expected to return to the country within the next few days, according to a source who spoke with the Daily Independent. This news comes as the ruling party prepares to launch its presidential campaign.
