Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), was surprised at the podium as the residents of Imo State fled without listening to him.
Meanwhile, It is important to know that the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, with his running mate, Shettima, and the National leader of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, the Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, and other party chieftains, on Thursday attended a town hall meeting in Imo state with South- East stakeholders.
Tinubu, on Thursday, made ten promises to South East business and trade organization leaders during a town hall meeting in Owerri, Imo State.
Tinubu said he would address their graveness and that he would not use segregation in his government
Tinubu assured South East people of economic development under his administration and alleviate the challenges of the residents in the region.
He also promised to easy access to consumer loans and expand the range of businesses that would have access to credit facilities across the region and the country in general.
Meanwhile, some of the stakeholders who were present at the meeting staged a walkout while the meeting was still going on which the event resulted in a rowdy session.
According to the video that has generated heated arguments on social media, Shettima was surprised at the event.
