BLODDY Monday In Ukraine As Tragic Explosions Greets Top Cities, Killing Scores

A succession of loud explosions rocked Kyiv early on Monday, a day after Moscow accused Ukraine of being responsible for a tragic explosion on the bridge connecting Crimea to Russia.

Around 8: 15 am local time (05: 15 GMT), explosions erupted in Kyiv, and an AFP reporter in the city observed a large number of ambulances moving toward the incident site.

MULTIPLE Explosions Rock Shevchenkivskyi Cities

Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, said on social media that there had been ” multiple explosions” in the Shevchenkivskyi neighborhood in the center of the city according to the Punch.

Videos shared on social media showed black smoke spouting above a number of metropolitan neighborhoods.

On June 26, Russia launched its most recent attack on Kiev.

The explosions happened a day after Moscow accused Ukraine of being to blame for an explosion that killed three people on a bridge between Russia and Crimea.

Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the bombing of the Crimea bridge on Saturday as a ” terrorist act” and stated that the Ukrainian secret services were the ” authors, perpetrators, and sponsors. ”

According to Russian news organizations, Putin made his remarks when in a meeting with the chairman of the inquiry panel he established to examine the incident.
