Senator Bola Tinubu, the APC’ s presidential candidate, has received support from a youth organization located in the South- West, the group, known as ‘ Always Thanking God (ATG)’ urged other youth leaders to follow suit.
In a statement released in Lagos, the group’ s coordinator, Mr. Rilwan Adegboyega- Usman, urged youth leaders in the zone to publicly pledge their allegiance, commitment, and obvious dedication to Tinubu’ s electoral triumph.
In addition to serving as the principal coordinator of the BATCO (Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Organization) Mandate Group in the Oshodi- Isolo Local Government, Adegboyega- Usman urged young people in Nigeria to take responsibility for their actions and get involved in politics.
” If we want to see positive changes in the country, as the future of the nation depends on us, we need to support Asiwaju, who remains an apparent youth builder, ” he said.
He stated that Tinubu’ s election as President Muhammadu Buhari’ s successor once his term ends in 2023 must engage young people from the zone.
Young people would be giving up their birthrights to politicians, he claimed, if they continued to show apathy toward the nation’ s electoral process. Politicians’ policies might not reflect the goals of the entire population, particularly the young people of Nigeria.
