A young maid around the age of 11 years has reportedly been confirmed dead after she was severely tortured and maltreated by her boss. The deceased victim who is called Margaret Joshua had left her parent’ s home and was employed by a boss to come and work as her house help. But unfortunately for her, the boss ended up torturing her to death. According to the boss, she said she tortured the girl because she caught her masturbating. The sad incident was reported to have happened in the Vom area of the Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State of Nigeria.
The chief inspector of the Human Rights Commission, Mrs. Beauty Pam, whose office is investigating the case, narrated that based on the number of scars and wounds on her body, her boss probably exposed her to a progression of torment, during the period she was with the family.
She said: ” Our notice was called to the circumstance, on Monday, by staff in the clinic, who said that an 11- year- the old young lady was genuinely beaten and harmed by her boss, in Vom.
During the beating, the young lady had to sit in a bucket with heated water, which burnt her vagina, and she passed away in the clinic on Monday.
” The young lady had scars and consumes on her body. We were informed that she was taken to Mandela clinic in Kaduna Vom before she alluded to Jos.
