Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has silenced her critics for twerking for the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
She bragged that the singular act fetched her a sum of N250,000, which was given to her by the royal father.
The mother of one had caused a stir after a video of her twerking for the Ooni of Ife surfaced online.
Sunday, was at the Ooni’s palace in Ile-Ife town for the Queen Moremi pageantry. She twerked for the Ooni and one of his queens, Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi, who invited her as one of the judges of the pageant.
Many of her fans took to social media to criticise her for engaging in such provocative dance in front of a king, who just married six wives.
She took to social media to reveal the reason for her dance steps.
“About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don dey win me, I say make I improvise, but las las I came second and walked away with 250k courtesy the king @ooniadimulaife.
“May you live long sir..God bless you abundantly for putting smiles on d faces of millions”, she wrote.
She further acknowledged a fan’s comment by saying “Person shake yansh collect 250k, you wey borrow data dey troll, some people Mumu eh.”
