I Would Not Feign Ignorance PDP Is Dying Slowly In My State- Senator James Manager

Senator James Manager, representing Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), had on Saturday proclaimed that with the recent turn of events within the Delta State chapter of the PDP, one can easily notice that the party is dying and drowning slowly in the state.

According to PUNCH, the Senator, who is also one of the PDP governorship aspirants in Delta State, made the revelation via a statement made available to journalists in Warri.

The statement is said to be in reaction to the verdict of the Federal High Court, Abuja, forfeiting Sheriff Oborevwori’s candidature as the PDP governorship flagbearer in the state.

Senator James Manager, in response to this move by the Federal High Court, Abuja, and what has been happening around the party, stated that he would not pretend as if all is well as the party is drowning and dying gradually.

He remarked that if nobody is seeing it, then he is seeing and feeling it greatly. Mr. James went on to say that he would have instigated certain preliminary actions pro bono, but because he was directly involved as a contender, he resisted doing so.

He revealed that he had to be extremely careful and cautious with suggestions and interventions.

Senator James Manager also urged the party loyalists to be cautious while dealing with the matter, indicating that he would not do anything that would further intensify the problems for the party and Deltans’ future.
