My Abductors Told Me Their Assignment In YorubaLand Is Much, And They Are Buying More Weapons -Victim
A victim of abduction identified as Idowu Ajayi, who recently regained his freedom from captivity shared the ugly experience he encountered while he was in kidnappers den.
Idowu who narrated his ordeals to Punchng.com in an exclusive interview, disclosed that he was abducted along Ikole-Ijesa Isu road at 4:30pm on March 14.
According to him, the incident happened when he went to help his mother to carry yam that was kept by the roadside.
While sharing his experience with Punch Newspaper, Idowu stated that his abductors warned that they still have much assignments to carry out in the South West.
“I heard the gunmen say I was disturbing them, that my people ought to have come for my release since their assignment was still much.” punchng.com quoted Idowu as saying.
According to him, the way the kidnappers sounded it appeared that they might have been given target.
” They spoke as if they were given target on the amount to make per week.” he stated.
Idowu went further to disclose to Punchng.com that he was told by his abductors that the money being collected as ransom is to purchase more weapons.
” He told me that they were using all the ransom they got to buy ammunition.” he stated.
