The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has urged the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to extend the deadline for the release of the newly designed naira notes.

EXTEND The Deadline For 3 Months- Miyetti Allah Appeal To The CBN Over Naira Notes Redesign
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has been urged to extend the deadline for the circulation of the newly designed naira notes the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN.
Gidado Siddiki, the executive director of the South- East association, requested a three- month extension from the CBN.
The additional time would allow MACBAN members to deposit their money in banks, according to Siddiki.
Siddiki claimed Wednesday in Awka, Anambra State, that the majority of herders don’ t save their money in banks, which is why more time is needed.
He said that the majority of herders take their money into the woods with them.
” We cannot fight or reverse the government policy as law- abiding citizens of Nigeria, but we are only appealing to the CBN to help us extend the deadline for another three months.
