The former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has taken to his verified Twitter handle to say the flood carried three ladies from Lokoja.
Nigeria’s flood crisis has been disastrous this year, forcing 1.4 million people from their homes, and many properties worth millions of naira have been lost so far. Among the states in Nigeria, Lokoja is one of the worst-affected areas.
The outspoken human rights activist, Shehu Sani tweeted on his microblogging, Twitter to say he was told by someone that the flood carried three women from Lokoja, the capital state of Kogi.
However, Shehu Sani added to his statement by saying that the three women were discovered seven days after in Abuja state.
“Someone said Flood carried three ladies from Lokoja and they were found seven days after in Abuja.”
