The Rotation Of Power To South East Will Heal The Pains Of Civil War- Shehu Gazali Sadiq Claims
Shehu Gazali Sadiq, a creative thinker, an advocate of good governance and an ardent supporter of Peter Gregory Obi has taken to his Twitter handle to speak about the forthcoming general elections and the need for power to be rotated from the North to the South East.
According to him, zoning power to the South-East would cause more good than harm. It would heal the pains inflicted during the civil war and those who felt marginalised for several years would be given a sense of inclusion. He further went on to say that rotation of power could bring an end to unnecessary agitation, thereby, promoting security in the country.
The call for power to be rotated to the South East has sparked mixed reactions both online and offline. While some people believe that zoning should be considered in the spirit of equity, justice and fairness, others believe that Nigeria should focus on winning before zoning.
