There Is No Way I Would Have Allowed ASUU Strike To Last This Long As A Senate President Bukola Saraki
Former governor of Kwara state and senate president, Bukola Saraki took to social media just a few minutes ago to say that there is no way he would have allowed the ongoing strike embarked upon by the academic staff union of universities to have continued for this long.
He stated that either in his capacity as the senate president and the chairman of governors forum, he wouldn’t have allowed the ASUU strike to have lasted this long. The former senate president who expressed worry over the prolonged ASUU strike condemned the lingering industrial action by the academic staff union of universities.
You will recall that the academic staff union of universities have been on strike for many months and there seems to be no end in sight.
The development has generated several reactions among many Nigerians including students and parents as they keep calling on the federal government and the academic staff union of universities to reconsider their stand.
