A 26- year- old man who goes by the name of Stephen Akwaboah has been reportedly beaten to death by a group of angry residents at Big Apple, a town in Gomoa Buduburam in the Gomoa Municipal of the Central Region of Ghana. The thief was severely beaten by this group of residents after he was caught trying to steal.
According to the residents of Gomoa Budubura, they claim for the past 5 months there has been an increase in stealing activities in the town. They said they had always suspected Stephen Akwaboah, alias Rasta. They said they were waiting for the right time to confirm if he was the thief behind all the stealing in the town. Due to this, after he was caught, they angrily beat him to death.
The suspect was tracked down dead behind a building on Gomoa Toansah Street with a dark pack two sets of shoes and sticks next to him with blood all around his body.
During a meeting with United Television, Yaw Boagyan explained his feelings in the wake of seeing the dead body of Rasta who they guarantee is a shameless criminal who seals the motorbikes of individuals.
In the meantime, the chief inspector for the town, Parcel Arthur spoke against mob Justice and spoke to the occupants to stop them from taking the law into their hands by beating people to death.
The spouse of the thief, Selina Essel denied the charges that her husband was a criminal demanding that he was an Okada Rider who had gone to the area to take his motorbike from a man.
