WAHALA! ! ! Bandits Attack Nigerian Army, Kill 10 Soldiers, 68 Villagers In Zamfara Fresh Invasion; SEE How

An ambush by armed bandits is believed to have taken place on Sunday in the hamlet of Mutunji, which is located in the Dansadau emirate in the Maru local government area of Zamfara state. The incident is said to have resulted in the deaths of at least ten soldiers and 68 locals.

According to information acquired by Tribune Online, the remains of the 10 dead troops were brought to the Yariman Bakura Bakura specialized hospital in Gusau, which is the capital of the state, on Monday.

Further investigation revealed that more than 40 persons had incurred significant injuries and were being treated for their conditions at the Yariman Bakura Specialist hospital in Gusau as well as the Dansadau local hospital.

Earlier, it was claimed that a number of people who were traveling along Dansadau road in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State had been left stranded for a number of hours as a result of marauding bandits blocking the sole route connecting from the town to other areas of the state.

One of the victims of the incident, who wished to remain anonymous, disclosed that the gunmen, who are thought to be bandits and who were armed with sophisticated weapons, blocked the road in the early hours of Saturday, thereby preventing motorists and commuters from engaging in their lawful activities for several hours.
